如果你在和某人聊天，某人也算是你网上最常聊天的朋友之一，某一天（就在我失眠得非常痛苦的那天），他却将你误认成另一个与你有着一样英文名字的朋友（msn可是有照片和电邮地址的啊！），聊了半小时后，你才恍然大悟，他却在你与他都发觉彼此搞错了的那一刻，告诉你他要欣赏连续剧了（就是再见了的意思啦!)，你，会不会觉得，他根本不在乎你这个朋友？你会不会有一点不开心呢？你，会不会有一股‘我从此不会再找你’的冲动？

it has been long since i last read a novel and if there is one thing i miss the most ever since i left malaysia, bookshops must be on top of the list. Not that i cant find any bookshops in Sydney,just that i haven't been explored the bookshops till recently.

i didnt hesitate to buy 'the short second life of bree tanner ' because it was on sale in the borders and costed $14.99 only but soon after i realised that it was not as interesting as i expected it to be,so after reading for 25 pages on the train(which took me about 40 minutes ),i decided to close the book even before the train reached central station.I will still try my very best to read it but it might take me a month or so.

i used to think that grocery shopping is aunties' activity but surprisingly,im now looking forward to every Sunday afternoon ,the time when 3 of us(Seeki,Stephii and me)will go to Coles ,either the one in Maroubra Pacific Square or East Gardens to buy the food for the following week.Oh,before i forget,we will have Shao Xin wine chicken wings,boiled vege, yam with shrimp, cheese baked oyster, fried egg with vermicelli and honeydew sago for dinner tomorrow.

SH will end soon,a good news,definitely. You have no idea how happy was me when i stepped out from the clinic on Thursday morning,11.30am.Not that i hate the place ,in fact,i like it and ALMOST everyone there which includes Drs, nurses who helped me a lot and my very responsible,diligent partner .The only problem was that i felt so sick after doing the same thing for 6 weeks and for sure,i was not the only one who complained about it. Anyway, it is finally over now!!!

we went to the rocks fire water as well after taking pictures at circular quay but it was too crowded and we can barely see anything,blamed the height .

the opening ceremony started at 6pm and it was still quite early(7.30pm) when the performance ends.so,we headed off to the famous the rocks market to hunt for food.Paella and turkish bread with spinach,cheese and chicken were good and the good food made our day.Not to forget, pampered ourselves with green tea and sticky rice ice cream from passion flower after a long walk .

On Sunday, we cooked the dinner.

tomato rice ans the greek style griled chicken ,prepared by SEEKI.

steamed vege,deep fired prawn ,fried egg with tomato and crab stick were prepared by me!!!!Nothing too fancy .well,at least i can cook now.

home visit wasn't a bad experience.a lovely lady who stays in a lovely house alone and she was talking to me about her husband, a few decades of memory and i believe i felt touched at that moment.
had japanese meal for lunch,thai food for dinner and bubble tea for supper and im looking forward to the italian dinner tomorrow night
the malaysia students association had a pasar malam event in UNSW last night,so,after the shopping at oxford street,we rushed back to the uni in order to solve my crave for nasi lemak and curry puff,simple things like this make me happy
i will be doing infectious disease for my society and health posting which i will need to go to Surry Hill every week,the place that's famous for the good food and im the type that can't resist the FOOD,i will blame the weather if i gain weight

War Memorial Hospital

So, we took the bus 400-Bondi Junction early in the morning without knowing where's the exact location of the War Memorial Hospital but we have Esther with us which means there was no chance for us to get lost because she drew the map after searching for the hospital in google map the day before.

We manage to find the hospital within a couple of minutes and to my surprise,it was such a nice hospital.The hectic day started with speech on speech pathology, followed by clinical psychology and aged care rehabilitation,wound management in aged care,lunch break which we ate our lunch in their beautiful garden.The aged care & incontinence,introduction to physiotherapy and occupational therapy were done in the afternoon and they were quite fun.We got the chance to ride on the modified scooter which was designed for the patients who have mobility problems.

im lucky although i dont know how to cook and i am quite lazy to cook.
as some of you might know,i have two housemates from Hong Kong who really enjoy cooking and dont mind to cook for me but sometimes i feel like it is unfair for them to spend 2 hours on cooking while i spend about 15 min on washing the dishes.so,i decided to learn how to cook,FINALLY!!!

here are some of the videos i watched just now and i think they are quite easy. lets hope i dont burn the kitchen down next week.(have to do my assignment tomorrow,wasted my one week holiday on watching drama and storing fat to my adipose tissues)

the shopping trip end up with we took the wrong bus on the way back and VISIT all the way to mascot,canterbury and burwood(not too sure if the spellings are correct and im too lazy to check it now).a 1o minutes journey was prolonged to 2 and a half hour till in the end,the bus driver was smiling when i reach my house.never take the wrong bus !!!

it was good and reminded me of my imu cell group members.i was asked by Rachel 'whats the best thing u find since you come to sydney?' and i gave my answer without hesitation(what a big surprise isnt it?im usually such a coward when it comes to speak in public .to be honest,i actually prayed in my heart right before my turn to be questioned.=) )

so the whole night went well.talked to some seniors,juniors ,one of my future batchmate ,uncle Duncan who is from Sibu ,aunty Cherise whose husband is from Sibu too and it just so happens that she knows my mum's friend,what a small world.The conversation between Nancy,Jun yan (both from china)and i was interesting too because i watched more China TV program than anyone else.

The welcoming dinner was not about how nice the food was(oto it was really good) but it is the love of God that brings us together and i know i will not just go there once but it will soon be my second home in Sydney.

was not as excited as wat i imagined.19th of feb is the day.contact lens,spec,books,clothes,shoes,laptop,documents,skin care products bla bla bla,how m i gonna pack everything into one luggage that not exceed 20kg as for ur information, im famous for 'as if she is shifting house' for everywhere i go.the MAS just told me that they no longer accept isic card which meant the extra 10kg for free that i was hoping for gone dy.

shall start packing tonight.

anyway,Happy Chinese New Year and i know by the end of the week,i will probably gain at least 5kg ,blame the cheesecake.=))

This will be adam's and my last imu cg as i will be leaving for sydney in less than a month.therefore,the cg outing to mage cafe .we ate and played some board games there.guess who lost the game?as usual,ME!!therefore someone commented 'terakhir' in my facebook picture.LOL.

i just want to remember this day ,no,not just this day but since the 1st day i joined the cg,the time when Lily,Eugene,Chris,Troy,Pui Fun ,Richard,Kiryu,Li Yan,Sue Wen,Kay Teck ,David etc still around .I remember how the noisy guys tried to irritate the leader(PF) and i was probably the only noisy girl in cg.Year by year,some people left, some new members joined us and finally,this is my turn.I wonder if that's how the seniors felt when they left the cg ,felt lose but fruitful for we had learnt so much from each other in cg.

the night started with late dinner at hot piper cafe restaurant,we wanted to go to tgif but it was full.being the hungry ghosts as we were ,no patience to wait for our turn at ole ole bali which was our 2nd choice,we just rushed into any shop that have empty seats.kinda regret because the food quite sux .i ordered salmon aglio which was too ugly to be shown to you all.the above picture were doris's fish and chips and ricky's ribeye steak.dont go there,u can probably cook better food than the cook there.

we got nothing to do there after buying some drinks from starbucks.so,as usual,decided to drive to genting AGAIN at 11.30pm.so we ended up stuck in the traffic jam,saw the fire cracker in the car ,parking the car by the roadside on the way up to genting,enjoying ricky's the so-called magic show (i should have recorded it,so qian bian!!!!!) and those two girls who cant stand the cold were trying to hide in the car .came down at about 5am and headed to wangsa maju to have our breakfast.we basically didnt do anything in genting except talking and taking pic.by the way, the heineken pic was taken in sunway pyramid.

i dont remember how many times have we(ricky,billy,peichee and me) count down together so far,since secondary sch (pei chee and ricky)if im not mistaken,it is amazing that we still put in the effort to spend time together on this special day ,year after year.

it is jian ren's 21`st birthday.most of us wont be around so we celebrated it a few days earlier.

1st-tenji

the food was not tat good but not that bad too,at least i love the durian cheesecake so much that i crave for it right now.LOL.suhi was so so .i tried all the ten kinds of tea they provided.have no idea why m i so proud of it.erm,no lobster here.the dessert is better than the one in jogoya.and the price is absolutely cheap.rm 46 only per person and u can eat from 11.30 tll 4pm.we stayed there till 4pm bcuz we spent most of the time on taking pic.it is a MUSt when u have two DSLR big fans to go with u and one of them are the president of imu photography club ,jian ren holds some important post in the club too if im not mistaken.

jian ren complaint that it was his birthday celebration but why chui king and i kept taking pic,LOl!!!sorry jian ren,girls are more important.LOL.

2nd-alcohol night

i feel like vomitting when i see the word alcohol but for jian ren's sake,i will still wrote a few words about it.

we had jian ren,chui king,jian ming,adam,david,weh loong,chun yen,szu may and myself gathered in wl's house.

4 or 5 bottles of alcohols.let me count 1st,sake,tequilla,jack daniel,bacardi,kampar.

so i went .

i tot i was early but when i reach the one world hotel,i realised i was the late comer.super late.so many people!!!!!!!!!

suddenly alvina called me .it was indeed a big surprise tat i saw her there.

at 1st,i couldnt manage to buy the album bcuz sold out dy.i was so scared that i wouldnt have the chance to see the pretty boy,LOL

everyone just tried to push each other in order to get into the conference room asap.

i kept praying and hoping for a miracle .

really grateful and thanks God bcuz He not only answered my prayer but miracles after miracles happened thruout the nite.

when i was bored and stucked in the crowd ,not moving at all for 15 minutes,i saw this red shirt lady with no album in her hands as well,so,the conversation started and she took an album from her bag and sold to me with no increase of the price,rm 70.tat time i was near to the entrance of the conference room dybut without the album,i wont be allowed to enter,HOW LUCKY!!!!!!

after entering the room, we had to choose a line to queue up because theres one line in front of each member of SS501 and obviously,the line in front of Kim Hyun Joong were the longest.(i almost pengsan dy when i saw him,never expect that my dream come true in a few months time!!!!!!)there were some workers there kept forcing us to line in such a way that all the 5 lines would be equally long .being a stubborn person as i am,i just ignore their yelling despite they threatened that if we dun want to follow the instruction,the fans meeting session would be canceled within one minute.what was playingin my mind was that if i cant get Kim Hyun Joong's autograph,i would rather come back with tears ,crying after crying than getting a signature thats not my first choice.dont laugh,this is called determination okie?

and the miracle happened again,while the rest of the girls decided to follow the instruction but i cut the line,i was the only one left in that line after the person behind me forced to queue up in other lines.so,my wish came true.i guess my brain was not functioning at all,felt like i was flying above the sky the moment he shaked my hand .OMG!!OMG!!OMG!!

and guess what?right after i left the room,the signature session ended which meant those who were still outside the room wont get the signature anymore.some girls were crying there.

im happy ,happy and happy.like what chui king,yen xi charlie they all said this morning,i dun wana wash my hand dy,LOl,kidding.

如果我毕业后,华文程度还和五年前不相上下,也许我会开始考虑写作,如果,我有时间.

曾经自己最引以为豪的语言能力,早已被医学教科书上的字汇给消磨掉了,偶尔,我也会因此而有点遗憾.

前几天交了narrative form, 文中最后一段提到我要加入成为无国界医生的义工,不是开玩笑,我是认真的.

其实现在MSF 有PAID INTERSHIP,不过因为没提供住宿再加上纽约的房租应该不易负担,我只好打消念头,等毕业后再从长计议吧.

明天要好好的玩一玩,希望接下来的MATCHING会如我所愿,顺顺利利的在正月头飞到柏斯去.

several things i learn about sibu and myself-the cheesecake from tanamas hotel is not as nice as i remember,can just pay rm 7 each for ice lemon tea and sing ur heart out in paramount hotel,provided theres no other people there,going to food fair is fun,ops,no pic,this is my first visit to the food fair oto my mum is the person in charge for so many years dy,thanks to my fren who gave the free ticket to me,i tend to ignore the phone call and sms when i feel lazy,insomnia is my close friend recently,i dont need cinema when i have PPS in my laptop(but i want to watch overheard in the cinema because all the main actors of the movie are the actors who i think will worth my money back.)

Finally,i felt like crying after reading 220 pages of this book,A WALK TO REMEMBER by Nicholas sparks. im glad that i didnt give up half way .

i know this is an old book and im pretty out dated but a good novel will never be out dated.

there was one image appeared in my mind when i read the first half of the book.a girl who is so kind,a true angel in real life, never stop trying her best to be close to God,,who else can be fit into this perfect picture except my dear junior/cg member ,sabrina.oh,i hope you are not reading this,LOL

YIK MUN RESTAURANT -this is where you can find the famous tanjung malim pao.

i was lucky that i got the chance to eat these pau.

they have basically beef filling which i like the most,spice-flavour minced chicken (the famous one) and kaya .

the best part was we were on our way back from KKb rotation ,it was raining ,cold weather ,gladys and i craved for the chance to try the pau and the drivers didnt mind to drive further.these pau are best eaten hot.yummy yummy,im so hungry now and regret for not buying the frozen,unsteamed paus which were shrinked packed.

oto the plot is pseudohistorical i still found it is quite interesting

too bad that there is no subtitle so it is extremely hard for me to understand the spanish part in the movie

in the end of the movie,she said 'im called the virgin queen,unmarried,i have no master,childless,im mother to my people, God gives me strength to bear this mighty freedom,i your queen,im myself.' in the real history, despite several petitions from her parliament,she remained unmarried .

just in case you dont know,she is the daughter of of king Henry VIII,her mother is Anne boleyn which was casted by natalie portman in the movie' the other boleyn girl.'

after the waterfall,we went to eat famous lo mee in ulu yam
it was cheap and not that bad but poor szu may cant stand the smell of vinegar. the environment was not that comfortable but what can you complain when you are not paying for the ambience?

it was the 1st time i ate durian by the roadside as well.darren said daphne and i sux bcuz we never try it b4,not our fault right?

and not to forget,hot spring we went was not that clean but there were lots of people there

the icon of the town-the dam where the you can see on the ad of old town white coffee,needless to mention,we wouldnt have missed it

we ended the day by celebrating szu may's birthday ,no big present but we gave her our sincere blessing and a cake.hope she will like it =))

1st day in kkb

12 of us went to sungai chilling waterfall on sunday morning
lots and lots of pic,screaming,joy,help,water,joke,mud,grass,slippery rock
but in the end,we manage to make it to the destination.
the current of the streams we got to cross was not as churning as i was told but the waterfall was definitely better than what i ecpected.

we cant help but to laugh when YH tumbled from this i-duno-i-should-call -it-as-rock-or cliff into the water.sounds apathetic?no no dont get me wrong .you will probably burst into laughter if you were there and of course we only started laughing after he assured us he was alright and didnt injure .

u know wordy post is never my favourite.this would be an exception.
basically,i just copy and paste from the email i received from yiao hoong minutes ago.
hope this will be helpful for those who are going later.

Ok this is the rough outline what we gonna do on that day
7am gather then depart.
We have 3 cars, with Darren, Daniel and Guan Meng driving. So if u guys wanna join any particular car just let the drivers know. And ya do discuss with your driver how to subsidize them some petrol money because it's not a short journey like going to sri petaling to have lunch or dinner rite? (KKB is about 80km away from Bukit Jalil) Somemore we'll need to go around after we reach.
It's a Sunday so my estimation is we'll reach there in about 1 hours 15 to 30 minutes.
So we'll reach about 8.30am, then we'll go somewhere to have breakfast first, my plan now is to go have handmade wantan mee in my neighbour town, Rasa. It's famous locally la though i don't really know how it tastes because i think most of u guys know right, i'm allergic/intolerant to eggs. Then after the breakfast we'll head to my town, KKB. I'm thinking of asking IMU whether they can let us get the keys of 1 of the houses so that we can lodge most of our luggages and stuffs there first, i'll try ask them and see, if i' going to IMU later (Friday).
Around 10am we'll head towards the waterfall, which will pass our dam, the Sungai Selangor Dam. The scenery is quite good and so do bring your cameras if u're thinking of snapping some pictures there or anywhere later in KKB. (Part of the Old Town Restaurant recent advertisement was shot here, the most notable being a big lake behind a swing on grass). Shortly after the dam, we'll reach the entrance to the waterfall. Then we'll need to trek for about 1 hour, depending on how smooth our journey gonna be, might be more, or less than the estimated time. I have to admit I've never been to the waterfall, but the trails should help, and I do hope we'll choose most if not all the trails right, though don't worry we would not get lost, we can always just turn back if we pick a wrong trail. And ya, in case I didn't tell u, we'd need to cross streams and rivers few times, bout 5-6, which the highest would be till abdomen level.

We'll spend about 1-2 hrs there at the waterfall, before heading back to our cars. WE might have picnic or slight lunch there if u guys want. The waterfall is called Sungai Chilling Waterfall, and some people say it's because of the icy cold CHILLING water. Couldn't tell u more, since i'd never been there also. Then the trek back should be relatively shorter. After the waterfall trip, we'll head south again to Ulu Yam Lama for its famous Loh Mee, the most famous food in Hulu Selangor. Again i've never tried it before because of allergy/intolerance, and despite the so-so reviews from my family members and girlfriend, I still think we should have a try.
After lunch, we'll go to the hot spring somewhere in Batang Kali, the gateway to Genting Highlands for people from the north ie Perak Penang Kedah... It's not being anywhere near to extraordinary, just until knee level, yet i think it should be a new experience for those who've never been to a hot spring before, something which is part of my childhood memory.
After hot spring, Jian Ren will head back to KL, and the rest of us will go back north to KKB to meet up with the rest going there by bus. I do have an idea though, this is all depend on u guys. I'm thinking of going to Tanjung Malim, somewhere 20km north from KKB, the border town of Perak and Selangor, divided by Sungai Bernam (something we've learned in Geography way back in secondary school, which is also 1 of the favourite questions). Why so far? For the famous Tanjung Malim Paus i love so much lo. I especially like the curry chicken paus, and i heard the kaya paus there also not bad. But really, it all depends on u guys lo, also if we've enough time la. And also u can actually get them when u're going north by PLUS, at the Tg Malim rest station.
So enough about the trip rough outline. Now it's about what u should bring, specifically for the waterfall.
1. Sport shoes, this is a must, u won't want foot ache, or even worse, have your slippers flown away by the rapid stream right? If u do "sayang" your favourite Nike Adidas New Balance or whatever brands of sport shoes so much, i'd suggest getting a cheap Power la. Just a suggestion la.
2. Some biscuits and drinking water. Or even some other food for picnicking?
3. First aid kit, this 1 no need to worry, thanks to Han Eyong who is willing to lend us his, and Jian Ren who is willing to carry it.
4. Extra pair of clothes, and leave it on the cars, since we sure be getting wet right?
5. If u bringing camera, better bring a water-proof 1, since we're crossing rivers or streams. If yours not, maybe u can consider getting water proof cap? But i really really hope we will be able to snap some pictures there.

gambling,im never good in that,rm 15 gone into their pocket,they laughed happily the whole night,cant hear the inner crying of mine AT ALL

genting was not that cold on sunday.nothing much worth mention because what you see in the facebook is what i gonna talk .im pretty sure you would like me to skip it.anyway,jerry join us after the salon close.having lots of fun in the pub .starbucks after 12am and thats when we went crazy.15 degree of celcius was not cold enough to send us back to the room.
